This morning was like Christmas morning. Ever since I found out about the estate sale yesterday, I was excited. I even traveled to the ‘burbs alone (I got my drivers license last summer so traveling alone to new places can be a little nerve-wracking) to reserve a spot in line Saturday morning. Luckily I did so (I was number 6!), because when 9:30 hit, there were at least 50+ people waiting. The house was mid century design heaven and jammed pack with so many fabulous items. If I had the chance to move in I would probably leave all my stuff behind…it was that good. Here is what I managed to get my hands on.

The typewriters and owl hanging are from my personal collection (which may or may not make it into the shop someday).

I really wanted these chairs, but the family decided to keep them in the family. How could you blame them? Also, that floor? Amazing!

Nate and I were really tempted to buy these white leather couches. They were reasonably priced, but: (a.) they’re leather (b.) they’re white (c.) we want to get a dog (d.) I would totally end up staining them or something.

These last two pictures are the never ending glass collection I have going on. It’s over taking my kitchen now.

I’m still debating on what to keep and what to put in the shop. If you see something you like be sure to keep your eye on the etsy shop, because it just might make it in there soon.
